Observation notes: The catepillar is 3-4 inches in length. It moves extremely quickly. It is decimating willow or dogwood bushes. We've had an unseasonably wet spring/early summer. The areas surrounding the sight, but not including the sight, experienced significant flooding. Most crops are about 1 month behind schedule due to weather. We've been experiencing a bit of a heat wave. high 80's, breaking 90 the past few days following a week of rain last week.
