Observation notes: Host plant not known. It was brought home in an insect carrier with leaves pulled from a tree. Today (Aug 1, 2011), it had been covered by it's 'webbing'. In moving the stick for the pictures, I noticed the webbing being very rigid and fairly sticky. I did not pull the twig away for fear of damaging the webbing or or injuring the caterpillar.
