Observation notes: I don't know where this big guy was living, our cat brought it to our back door as a gift. It doesn't seem to be harmed, it was able to pass some fecal matter, so it must be ok. When browsing the caterpillar photo gallery,Glaucopsyche lygdamus was the only picture that looked similar.
