Coordinator notes: This is a wandering (looking for a suitable place to pupate) fifth instar caterpillar of the two-tailed swallowtail (Papilio multicaudata pusillus.) Last instar larvae are green until they are fully grown. They then change color to brown prior to purging, wandering off the plant, and then pupating.
