Coordinator notes: BAMONA coordinator Lehman noted that photos of L. jubarella have three orange bands on the forewings, while photos of L. abroniaeella have only two. I reviewed all the photos on bugguide and MPG of the two species and this characteristic is 100% consistent. This sighting photo has only two orange bands on the forewings, so based primarily on this defining characteristic, the sighting is L. abroniaeella. Coordinator Tomlinson.
