Coordinator notes: Of the various Metaxaglaea species, Metaxaglaea violacea looks like the best match to the sighting photo. Sightings in BAMONA have only been in the NE, but Moth Photographers Group shows them more spread out across the whole eastern U.S., including SE and S-Central.
