Observation notes: Transition habitat between sage steppe/riparian/forest. Elev approx 3500 ft. Nectaring at Chrysothamnus sp. blossoms. Only individual of this species ever observed by me in Idaho in over 30 years of collecting. Specimen resides in the Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History at The College of Idaho, Caldwell, ID.
