Observation notes: We found this moth on the steps of our Middle School. It was fairly early in the morning and the temperature was approximately 10 celcius. The moth was clearly alive but did not attempt to fly away during the 30 minutes we were observing it. At the end of the 30 minutes, the moth was gently moved to a wood area to avoid it being harmed by people using the stairs.
