Observation notes: Individual was perched on a Sycamore tree, just above a large patch of Poke Milkweed (Asclepias exaltata). A male individual approached this female, perched right behind her, fluttered his wings several times, and then approached her. She flew away, and landed on a nearby Sassafrass tree. (Note that I also have a photo of the male and female together, available if desired.)
