Observation notes: Accidentally disturbed it while walking, which meant this is the only picture I could get before it flew off. Once disturbed it was quite skittish. Orange underwings with dark eyespots. Very large for a moth - mistook it for a butterfly at first. Also earned undying enmity of neighbor whose porch it landed on.
