Observation notes: Found in my front yard when getting ready to cut the grass. Was on a brick pillar earlier, but then flew to the ground and was sitting in the grass, when it opened its wings. I live in United States, Maryland, Baltimore County, Middle River. I have no idea what this is and would love to have it identified.
