Observation notes: The moth was found on the driveway of a residence just after dawn. The weather was calm and overcast and ambient temperature was approximately 45F. The moth was intact but initially appeared to be dead. Upon being moved onto a piece of cardboard to be photographed, it moved slightly. It was returned to its original location where it was still located 8 hours later. It was dead that evening.
