Observation notes: While preparing to repot a container of Society Garlic, I found this caterpillar climbing an adjacent clay pot containing Desert Rose. It is a sunny, windy day at ~80F. These plants are in close proximity to Firebush, Fish-tail Ferns, ornamental Sweet Potato, Carissa Boxwood, Avocado, and White Stopper. Because anoles were eyeing him, I brought him into the potting shed where he was photographed on a Diffenbachia. I would be pleased to "raise" him if you can suggest how to do so. I successfully raised a Monarch in 2011.
