Observation notes: We live in Southern CA near the beach. There is a flowering jasmine plant on the trellis. This is not the first for this season, but this have never happened in previous years.
It seems to have attached itself to the wall and has not moved for about a week. The only noticeable change is that the hump on the back and the "belly" area seem to be growing.
