Observation notes: Found in Sacramento, CA. I am an avid gardener and outside Every day and have Never seen a caterpillar this size! This guy has been busy eating off entire Branches of my tomato plants (Super Sweet 100's) Anybody have an idea as to what it is? Is it a caterpillar? It looks like it has the little spider eating mechanisms to shove food into his mouth and almost as if it has a tail! What a crazy looker!
