Observation notes: The weather was sunny and hot. After frightening the butterfly away a couple times, it continually returned to its resting spot after flying around in a circle. It eventually became comfortable with us being close to it.

Coordinator notes: These are friendly skippers. They will even sit on you with enough patience if they think the spot is better to wait for a female to mate with. This male had its spot picked out and didn't want to move!
