Observation notes: Found this on the ground at the summit of a small mountain. It was a warm partly cloudy afternoon. It seemed to have fallen out of a tree or off of a bush as it was on the graveled trail. I put several different kinds of leaves in a container with it and it seemed to prefer the maple leaves as it ate most of one and defecated many times.
