Birch Dagger Moth
Acronicta betulae

Observation date: August 04, 2013
Submitted by: edenny
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: There have been many of these lately, hard to photograph because they are extremely fluttery and shy. This one was sitting on the garage in daylight in early morning, happened to catch it. About 1 inch long, light tan moth with very subtle tan shading here and there. Furry head.
