Observation notes: Butterfly was resting in trail (No. 441) between Multnomah Falls and Sherrard Point. The habitat was an open area along Multnomah Creek in a mixed conifer forest. Weather was clear and sunny.

Coordinator notes: While Callophrys nelsoni SHOULD be what you have based on COUNTY and habitat, be aware brown Callophrys in the east part of that state can be a similar looking species in the Callophrys gryneus complex.
