Observation notes: day flier saw the first one during day around 1400 hrs it kept searching around like the dusk's were. thought we had a new species. this must be a moth as day wore on saw more on wild pea's, wild lilac , and other flowers for nectar. later in the day lots more came out around 1600, chaparral oak scrub. about 3,000 ft or more low seventies mid day. dry clear.
