Observation notes: This moth flew into our house late in the evening and perched itself on my computer lamp. It stayed there for about an hour until we decided to take it back outside. It didn't want to get off of my son's hand. It tried to fly back in one we put it outside. It was a very hot day 85 degrees. The evening was very cool. We live in Long Beach, California.
