Observation notes: Rapidly running in small, tight circles on a sycamore leaf for a few seconds at a time, then stopping and pulling wings tight against body to form a motionless cylinder. Then repeating. Found it a few minutes after a rainstorm had finished. Moth is only a few mm in length, but the electric blue streaks were visible to the naked eye.
