Observation notes: (very docile, kept wings closed) Vivid, iridescent blue upper wing with thick, dark borders. Under-wing gray/brown with white-M and a red heart-shaped dot. It was NOT feeding on Milkweed (pictured) I just put it there in the hope that it might and so I could take a better-lit photo. Weather: dry up to the point that I started taking pictures, then heavy rain for the rest of the day. Temp 90'F and falling.
