Coordinator notes: Terry Harrison says, "The moth in the photo is Phyllocnistis sp. (note the smooth head vestiture, with no tuft as in Phyllonorycter). If I had to guess, I would say Phyllocnistis vitifoliella, but the white Phyllocnistis spp. are tough to diagnose on sight ID." There are reared specimens of this species from Boone County.
