Life History:
Flight: late July and early August
Caterpillar Hosts: winged lythrum (Lythrum alatum) and species of St. Johnswort, including Hypericum punctatum Lamarck and H.virginicum.

Range: Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, west to Ontario and south to Illinois and south along the Appalachian Mountains to western North Carolina.
