Fruit-tree Leafroller Moth
Archips argyrospila (Walker, 1863)

Subfamily: Tortricinae
Identification: Forewing cream and yellow, heavily mottled with reddish to blackish brown. Two whitish costal spots are sharpest markings. Hindwing dark gray.
Wing Span: 1.4-2.4 cm.
Life History: Larva is a pest of apple and pear.
Flight: June-mid August.
Caterpillar Hosts: Apple, pear, apricot, cherries, peaches, plums, alfalfa, beans, blueberries, cedar, grapes, elms, oaks, onions, and Prunus species.
