Subfamily: Crambinae
Identification: Similar to C. agitatellus but larger with narrower forewing. Note silvery white border along costa, bisected by brown lengthwise streak. Faint dark streaks extend inward from outer margin (not just a row of terminal dots as in C. agitatellus. Pm. and st. lines barely visible; streaks do not contrast much with forewing ground color.
Wing Span: 2.3-3 cm.
Life History:
Flight: April-July.
