Life History: The larvae are thought to be a root borers.

Caterpillar Hosts: Uncertain. Possibly Lupinus sp.
Adult Food:
Habitat: Most commonly found in coastal areas where it has been associated with beach lupine.
Range: Widespread across Canada and the western United States south to central coastal California and Santa Cruz Island.
