Eucirroedia pampina (Guenée, 1852)
Family: Noctuidae
Subfamily: Noctuinae
Identification: Forewing deep yellow, variably shaded with rusty orange. Forewing and hindwing deeply scalloped. Am. and pm. lines even, lighter yellow, shaded with reddish brown. Orbicular and reniform spots filled with purplish brown. Hindwing rose.
Wing Span: 3.6-4.4 cm.
Life History:
Flight: Late August-December, mostly September-October.
Caterpillar Hosts: Black cherry, choke cherry, oaks, poplars, and many other plants. They may feed on tree catkins.
