Black-fringed Psilocorsis Moth
Psilocorsis cryptolechiella (Chambers, 1872)
Family: Elachistidae
Subfamily: Depressariinae
Identification: Similar to Psilocorsis quercicella, but forewing is usually paler orange or yellow with several thin, dark gray to brown transverse lines (not blotches). Adterminal line runs only halfway from costa to anal angle. Fringe darker gray or brownish.

Caterpillar Hosts: Chestnut, locust, northern bayberry. Has been reared on oaks.
